Southern Airways Express Announces Service from DeKalb County’s PDK Airport to Six Southern Cities

Southern Airways Express held a press conference on August 20, 2013 at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) announcing service from Atlanta’s DeKalb County to six cities across the South. This will be the first and only scheduled passenger service from DeKalb-Peachtree Airport.

Southern Airways Express C.E.O., Stan Little and Keith Sisson, C.O.O., were present to make the announcement, answer questions from the media and provide access to one of the carrier’s aircraft. “We are delighted to bring to Atlanta the same Southern service that we have provided since Spring to Memphis and seven other cities across the South. As the region’s economic and cultural capital, we are confident that Atlanta will become one of our busiest origination and destination cities,” stated Little.

Southern Airways Express is a Memphis-based air transportation company, serving eight cities in the Southern United States, with hubs in Memphis and Destin. Southern flies on the premise that passengers should enjoy their trip, not just their destination. They require no baggage fees, no airport parking fees and no wait in security lines.  DeKalb Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes their service to DeKalb County.
