Oak Groove Festival Rescheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2013

Due to weather conditions, the Oak Groove Music, Arts & Food Festival has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2013.  The Oak Groove Festival, presented by DeKalb Convention & Visitors Bureau, will be held in the Vista Grove Plaza on Lavista Road from 1 PM  – 7 PM. The name Oak Groove was adopted as a twist to give the festival a unique name that reflects the fun, music and arts at the festival, but also to be inclusive of Oak Grove and all the surrounding neighborhoods that make it such a wonderful area to live, work, and play.

The festival will feature local businesses, artists and entertainers from the areas of Sagamore Hills, Oak Grove, Leafmore-Creek Park, Briarlake, Shallowford, Hawthorne and North Briarcliff and surrounding areas.

Oak Groove is a family-friendly Music, Food and Arts Festival featuring musicians with direct ties to the Oak Grove Community.

The 2013 music line-up includes:

  • Frets on Fire
  • ConunDrums
