Discover DeKalb is excited to announce BikeDeKalb! Partnering with several biking events throughout the county, and noticing the growing trend of cyclists traveling to cities and communities, we realized the need for a biking campaign that will attract bicycle tourism, as well as the local cycling community.

Partnering with Bicycle Tours of Atlanta and RideWith GPS, BikeDeKalb offers turn-by-turn navigation for rides throughout the county along with detailed information about each loop. The BikeDeKalb rides include Decatur, Clarkston, Druid Hills, and Stone Mountain. We are exciting to launch BikeDeKalb and look forward to adding more routes and communities throughout the year!

BikeDeKalb Routes

Cyclists taking a spin in Stone Mountain, Georgia’s most famous carved monadnock, shouldn’t miss the charming historic Stone Mountain Village just outside the park

While cycling the well-maintained Stone Mountain PATH from Decatur to Stone Mountain, in addition to all the leafy trees, you’ll see cyclists of all types.

The Decatur to Emory Scenic Roll is a delightful bike ride that directs you to the campus along low-traffic residential roadways. Emory University is a gorgeous, tree canopied school surrounded by equally beautiful neighborhoods.

Clarkston is located halfway between Decatur and Stone Mountain, but its spirit is worlds apart. Bikers riding through the gently rolling multi-use trails of Clarkston will find shaded pathways, easily shared with friendly faces from around the world.
Cyclists will find the city of Decatur to be a community with cycling in its soul. Decatur is a town abundant with bicycle racks, a city commissioner who owns one of the two bike shops in town, bike lanes, and food and libations to refuel you and replenish your electrolytes.
