Antebellum Plantation & Farmyard – The Antebellum Plantation at Stone Mountain Park is a collection of original buildings from around the State of Georgia, built between 1783 and 1875. Each structure was moved from its original site and carefully restored to preserve its authenticity and historical value.

Be sure to visit the Farmyard where kids can pet the animals, work with our trainers to learn about animal behavior and come to understand the role of livestock in early Georgia life.

The Great Barn – It’s harvest time in the barn! Atlanta’s most exciting adventure for families and children (primarily ages 5-12), featuring super slides, trampoline floors, climbing structures and over 65 interactive games.

Scenic Railroad – Climb aboard our train with a full size locomotive from the 1940s with open-air cars that will take you on a lively five-mile excursion around the mountain.

The train experience includes exciting tales of real life train adventures as told by conductor Fire Box Floyd. Train-themed music and well known sing-a-longs make the ride fun for all ages.

Paddlewheel Riverboat – Cruise the tranquil waters of Stone Mountain Lake on the Scarlett O’Hara, an authentic side-wheeler that carries 150 passengers. The boat was built right at the park in 1976.

Twenty minute cruises depart every 1/2 hour, and the last cruise departs at closing.

Yogi Bear 4-D Adventure – Opening May 28, 2011 – Georgia’s first 4-D theater introduces “YOGI BEAR’s 4-D Adventure,” starring Dan Aykroyd (Yogi) and Justin Timberlake (Boo Boo). The 12-minute experience engages guests through a 3D film and spectacular 4th dimension special effects.

This original film follows Yogi and Boo Boo during zany adventures to try to snatch picnic baskets from unsuspecting park guests.

Snow Mountain – Atlanta’s Stone Mountain Park transforms into a winter wonderland every year with Snow Mountain, Atlanta’s only snow park. Bundle your family up and get ready for snow tubing, snowballs, snowmen and snow angels. Snow Mountain’s state-of-the-art snow-making magic guarantees tons of fresh snow daily.

Pedal Boats on Stone Mountain Lake – Set sail on a voyage into Stone Mountain Lake in your own Pedal Boat for a 30 minute excursion.

Any age can ride as long as there is someone at least 12 years old on board (infant vests are available).

Walk-Up Trail to the Top of Stone Mountain – Guests that want a little more adventure during their visit should take the 1.3 mile trek to the top of the mountain.

The trail is open daily from dawn to dusk, unless otherwise posted.

Quarry Exhibit – This outdoor display was developed to tell the story of an industry that played a significant part in the history of Stone Mountain. Throughout the years, 7,645,700 cubic feet of granite were removed from the mountain. This is equal to one-foot-long paving stones stretching from the North Pole to the South Pole (12,444 miles)!

Confederate Hall Historical & Environmental Education Center – The focus of the new Confederate Hall, located at the base of the walk-up trail, is to educate Park guests and local students about the fascinating geology and ecology of Stone Mountain.

Grist Mill – In 1965, this century-old mill was moved to the Park from its original site near Ellijay, GA. One of the most picturesque spots in the Park, it makes a great place for picnics.

The Grist Mill is located on Robert E. Lee Blvd. on the east side of the mountain. Parking is available across the street.
