DeKalb Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCVB) was established in 1984 as a 501(c)(6) non-profit marketing organization. Our team of sales people and marketing experts promote Atlanta’s DeKalb County across the Southeast as a destination for leisure travel, small meetings, group travel, sports tournaments and family reunions.
DCVB attracts visitors and groups to Atlanta’s DeKalb County through cutting edge marketing techniques used for print collateral, advertising, online marketing, social media, videos, e-mail newsletters, direct mailing, public relations and sales campaigns. The majority of our marketing efforts are completed “in-house,” which allows visitors access to the most up-to-date and comprehensive information on events and activities happening in the area.
Our sales staff attend trade shows and conferences across the U.S.A. to increase awareness of our County and book business for our hotels. DeKalb County is known as one of the most popular family reunion spots in the country. We host free family reunion planning workshops throughout the year at local hotels to bring more reunion business into the area. Once business is booked into our hotels, we offer free services such as welcome bags, name tags and planning materials to keep families returning each year.
